"If you wish to make anything grow, you must understand it, and understand it in a very real sense. 'Green fingers' are a fact, and a mystery only to the unpracticed." — Russell Page
Poor results in the vegetable garden are never just a matter of bad luck. Plants are incredibly refined organisms that respond favourably when you create favourable conditions for them. When you don't know what you're doing, taking shots in the dark is futile. That's why with each new problem we encounter, our quest has always been to understand the science behind it. In the beginning, our list of questions seemed endless, but through continual research and experimentation, we have improved our techniques dramatically resulting in healthier soil, higher yields, less work, and more enjoyment!
We want to develop task specific guides that clearly explain effective techniques you can use to grow your own food. Use the contact form below to let us know what types of guides you would like to see here in the future. What is the biggest challenge you are facing in your vegetable garden?
